The MUN Advisor Institute is a professional development program that makes it easy for
K-12 educators to support their students throughout their MUN journeys!

- How to help student write and deliver speeches in MUN
- How to help students negotiate and collaborate
- How to write MUN resolutions and amendments
- How a MUN simulation works including the Rules of Procedure

About Model UN:
Model United Nations empowers today’s students to become tomorrow’s leaders. Educators love how Model UN gives students the opportunity to step into the shoes of world leaders. MUN teaches students critical 21st century skills in research, public speaking, collaboration, teamwork, and leadership. MUN creates global citizens, helping students learn about global issues from the perspectives of different countries and cultures.
For students, MUN is FUN! They enjoy the role-playing simulation, and in the process, they don’t even realize how much they’re learning.

Many advisors receive funding from their school, the Parent Teacher Organization, or club funds, to attend the Professional Development Program. We are also happy to provide complimentary tuition to any advisor who has 5 or more students attend the MUN Institute and/or Virtual MUN Institute.
