Model UN Chair Training Team
Learn Model UN Rules of Procedure and become a confident Chair!
The MUN Chair Training Team is a fun and engaging after-school program that guides experienced MUN students on how to chair and judge a MUN committee. Students will serve as a Co-Chair at two Best Delegate MUN Conferences.

In this program, you will:
- Learn How to Chair a MUN Committee
- Serve as a Co-Chair at 2 MUN Conferences
- Guided by expert Best Delegate MUN Chairs
- Develop your chairing confidence and style
- Learn How to judge and give awards
- Receive an exclusive MUN Chair certificate

Weekly Schedule
The program runs from February 21 to April 29 (10 weeks). Students meet for one hour per week at the following day and time:
You will be asked in class to serve as a Co-Chair for 2 MUN Conferences (1 in March and 1 in April):
- March 19 or 20 (12-6pm ET)
- April 23 or April 24 (12-6pm ET)

Week 4 | March 16 | Giving Delegate Feedback on Speeches, Moderated, and Unmoderated Caucuses |
March Conference | March 19 or 20 | Co-Chair at the Best Delegate MUN Conference in March (Saturday or Sunday) |
Week 5 | March 23 | Debrief from Chairing the MUN Conference |
Week 6 | March 30 | Preparing to Staff on a Dais: Roles and Dynamics |
Week 7 | April 6 | Chairing Confidence, Styles, and Fairness based on Conference Missions |
Week 8 | April 13 | Learn How to Judge and Give Awards based on Awards Criteria |
Week 9 | April 20 | Troubleshooting Delegate Behavior and Common Committee Scenarios |
