Model United Nations for Teachers: MUN Fundamentals
Learn how to prepare your students for Model UN conferences!
MUN Fundamentals is a one-day professional development program for high school and middle school teachers who are new to Model UN. You will learn how to prepare students for Model UN conferences, including research, public speaking, resolution writing, and rules of procedure. By the end of the program, you will walk away with the unit plan, materials, and knowledge you need to help your students get the most from attending Model UN conferences.
Registration Deadline: February 10
In this program, you will:
- Learn how to prepare students for Model UN Conferences
- Learn how to help students research their topic and write position paper
- Learn how to help students with writing resolutions and negotiating with their peers
- Learn how to help students with public speaking and writing speeches for Model UN conferences
- Participate in your own Model UN simulation
- Learn from a globally recognized Model UN expert
- Meet other teachers and educators who lead Model UN programs
- Become a confident Model UN Advisor

Program Schedule
The program is scheduled on Saturday, February 12, from Noon to 6pm US Eastern Time.
The program takes place online via Zoom. You will receive the meeting link one week before the program.
