College All-Stars Model United Nations Conference (CASMUNC)
Saturday, May 30th, 12-6pm Eastern
Reunite the College Circuit for Charity
CASMUNC is a charity Model United Nations Conference and an opportunity for college delegates and alumni to reconnect and do an exhibition Model UN conference together. The All-Stars needed at this time are the ones who can give and create new opportunities for students to do MUN online during these times.
The debate will take place on Saturday, May 30th, from 12-6pm Eastern (9am-3pm Pacific). The MUN conference format will be a 3-hour first session, a 30-minute meal break, and a 2.5-hour second session. There’s an optional happy hour networking session afterward.
Delegates will receive their Background Guide and Country Assignment via email the Monday before the conference and can start researching their topic and country policy.
There will be three topics being simulated, with the potential for multiple committees simulating the same topic if it is popular. Each committee will aim to have 20-30 delegates.
This conference is an exhibition for charity, and is meant to be fun and non-competitive. Delegates who complete the conference will receive a Certificate of Completion.
Delegates will also be eligible for individual Delegate Awards: Best Delegate, Outstanding Delegate, Honorable Mention, and Verbal Commendation. These will be given to delegates who display outstanding diplomacy skills, an accurate representation of country policy, and stay within the spirit of collaboration of this event rather than focus on competition.
All certificates and awards will be issued as digital, printable certificates after the conference.
Disclaimers: this conference does not count toward the College Rankings since it is an All-Star exhibition. Participation in the conference does not equate to a spot on the College All-Star Team, which is a list based on votes by the circuit.
Register by May 23rd
Registration is $15 per delegate. 100% of proceeds will be shared evenly between two causes that help address challenges due to COVID-19:

- The World Health Organization COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund organized by the United Nations Foundation.
Delegates should register by May 23rd, 11:59pm Pacific to receive their background guide and country assignment on Monday, May 25th. Registrations after that are not guaranteed to receive a country assignment.
