The Emirates Model United Nations Conference is an engaging conference where students make speeches, debate, and work together to come up with solutions to world issues.
In this conference, you will:
- Be guided step-by-step for your first MUN conference
- Represent a country and debate a world issue
- Make an opening speech
- Experience a fun and engaging MUN simulation
- Be led by an expert college MUN chair
- Be eligible for awards and a certification of completion
Conference Schedule
Emirates Model United Nations Conference is scheduled on November 26th from 9am-5pm UAE time and 27th from 10am-1pm UAE Time.

| Committee Session 1 ( Nov 26th) - Students make their opening speeches, debate the issues, and start forming teams to solve the issues together Held Virtually | |

| Committee Session 2 ( Nov 26th) - Students finalize drafting their proposed solutions, present and debate about them, and vote on them Held Virtually | |
| Closing Ceremonies - Top performing students receive awards. The day ends with closing speakers. Held in-person from 10am-1pm |
Conference Theme
The debate topics of the Emirates Model United Nations Conference are based on the the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), 17 Global Goals set by world leaders in the year 2015, to be achieved by 2030. The SDGs represent a "blueprint" for achieving world peace, creating prosperity, helping people, and protecting the planet.

How to Apply and Prepare
Phase 1. Submit the application below by 30th October, 2022
Phase 2: Check your email to see if you've been accepted for the conference
Phase 3: If you are accepted, you will receive an onboarding email, containing preparation materials, required attire, and other details, before the conference
